Grooved butterfly valve, manual DN.50 is manufactured for industrial fire-fighting, heating, gas and pressurized water installations.
Butterfly valves are used for local control in water supply and fire protection systems, acting as isolation valves for hydraulic circuit demarcation. They can be used as both shut-off and control valves. In fire protection systems, the position of the valves must be visible and electrically monitored. The valve is equipped with a mechanical gear operator actuated by a handwheel, and the gear operator cover contains the electrical monitoring circuit. Additionally, a mechanical indicator showing the closed/open position is mounted on the cover.
